Have you ever felt like you were walking in a fog with no idea where you were or which direction you were facing?  How about having that sense of fear of not knowing what lay ahead for you in life?  Uncertainty in life can be pretty paralyzing.  Not knowing what happens next is terrifying.

            The bone cold chill hangs over the darkness like a death shroud.  The thick, suffocating darkness creeps into every crevice, driving out any thought of light.  Intense loneliness and agony stalks about the hidden stone halls.

            It is early in the morning.  The fresh smell of the morning is still hanging sweetly in the air.  As custom, the Man made His way into the Courtyard of the temple and instantly drew a crowd.  With a smile, He sat down and began to teach.

In the Scripture we see the reference to the alabaster box being broken.  Often, the precious and fragrant perfume was sealed in a flask with a long neck.

If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. (matthew 16:24) 

Here we come to the place where the internal must now become external.  Denying oneself is easy to do internally; however, taking up a cross and following the Savior is much more difficult to hide.  Too many of us Christians are playing “Hide the Savior.”
