Life is tough!

Have you ever felt like you were walking in a fog with no idea where you were or which direction you were facing?  How about having that sense of fear of not knowing what lay ahead for you in life?  Uncertainty in life can be pretty paralyzing.  Not knowing what happens next is terrifying.

They are all around us.  No one escapes life without coming face - to - face with them.  Some people fare well against them, and others crumble under their tremendous pressure. 

            We call them “unusable,” “disqualified,” unqualified,” and a host of other descriptions.  They come from all walks of life and all manner of background. 

            We have all been there.  We go to church on Sunday morning, hoping to cram all of the things that we do into that short hour. 

To say the word "revival" conjures up images of tents and sawdust trails, evangelists, fiery preaching, and soul-rending messages.

            It is early in the morning.  The fresh smell of the morning is still hanging sweetly in the air.  As custom, the Man made His way into the Courtyard of the temple and instantly drew a crowd.  With a smile, He sat down and began to teach.

In the Scripture we see the reference to the alabaster box being broken.  Often, the precious and fragrant perfume was sealed in a flask with a long neck.

Here we come to the place where the internal must now become external.  Denying oneself is easy to do internally; however, taking up a cross and following the Savior is much more difficult to hide.  Too many of us Christians are playing “Hide the Savior.”
